The International Desalination Association has announced the release of the Advance Program for the IDA World Congress on Desalination and Water Reuse, Desalination: Sustainable Solutions for a Thirsty Planet, during 4 – 9 September 2011 in Perth, Australia.

The biennial congress, being held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre is expected to draw together over 1,200 industry professionals and leaders from the global desalination and water reuse industry.

The program (be patient, download can take a while) confirms that Sir Richard Branson and Philippe Cousteau will lead the keynote speakers, and that even before the congress proper begins, delegates will be able to attend the grand opening of the Rockingham Desalination Research Facility.

With an Australia cultural night, presentation awards, Craigie and Perth plant tours, workshops and more during the week, there is every incentive to take advantage of the discounted registration which only lasts until 22 July 2011.
