Hinman to take chair at CH2M Hill

President and chief executive officer of engineering consultant CH2M Hill, Jacqueline Hinman, will take up her new appointment as chairman of the board at the company on 18 September.

Hinman’s stated goals for the firm are market leadership, balanced growth and client stewardship. To these ends she has prioritized safety, quality, sustainability, technology, diversity, positive employee engagement and the highest standards of ethical behaviour as drivers for CH2M Hill’s success the company said.

Current chairman Lee McIntire is retiring in September. He said: “It has been a privilege for me to lead the board and our company through five years of growth and service to our clients around the world, and I’m confident the company will be in good hands going forward.”
 
Hinman will continue as chief executive officer of CH2M Hill.

Previously Hinman held a number of senior posts at CH2M Hill and includes among her achievements overseeing the delivery of the engineering, construction, and operations programmes for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Rio 2016 Olympics and the Masdar sustainable city in Abu Dhabi.

She has 30 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry.
