Medesa GmbH of Germany has delivered a 180 m³/d desalination unit to the Al Marshad Group for the industrial area in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
The installed unit works on the principle of mechanical vapour-compression (MVC) and multiple-effect distillation (MED). The Al Marshad Group has already ordered three additional desalination units with a capacity of 250 m³/d each.
