Doug Barnes has joined desalination membrane manufacturer NanoH2O as chief operating officer from digital display company Planar.
Prior to joining NanoH2O, Barnes spent 25 years in high volume manufacturing with Planar, serving in various positions including vice president of global operations and general manager, during which he was responsible for establishing commercial and manufacturing operations in Europe and Asia.
“Doug brings extensive experience in translating manufacturing operations and commercial activity into business results,” said Jeff Green, CEO of NanoH2O. “It is critical that we match best-in-class technology with world-class operations as we become the leading supplier of reverse-osmosis membranes to the desalination industry.”
