Redox in soil
Soil electrode for ORP measurements
Soil electrode for ORP measurements
· Robust platinum ball sensor
· Reference junction immune to permanent blockage from soil.
· Immune to contamination from sulphides
Our KDCMPTB11 electrode is designed to be perfect for ORP measurements in soils.
A platinum ball sensor replaces the traditional platinum rod allowing easy insertion into moist soil samples.
The polymer filled reference is immune to sulphide contamination and also immune to blockage.
Traditional soil electrodes have ceramic junctions, which block in soils, or sleeve junctions, which require renewing and refilling. The polymer K-Series reference junction is simply an open hole allowing direct contact between the sample and the reference electrolyte. This eliminates the possibility of blockage allowing reliable repeatable measurements to be taken.
