Nanostone Water Inc’s Ceramic Ultrafiltration Module Receives NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and NSF/ANSI Standard 372 Certification
Eden Prairie
The NSF/ANSI 61/372 certified ceramic UF membrane from Nanostone Water is a revolutionary high surface area pressurized monolith style module with greatly improved permeate flow efficiency and lower energy consumption versus currently available ceramic ultrafiltration membranes. The patented design uses multiple rows of channels in flat sheet segments and incorporates multiple segments inside a pressure vessel similar to those used with polymeric hollow fiber membranes. Together with the improved energy efficiency, the high surface area and unique segmented construction drastically reduces cost of ownership, making systems using Nanostone’s ceramic UF module competitive with polymeric UF/MF systems.
