AMTA NEWS LG NanoH₂0 dips into brackish market
Reverse osmosis membrane specialist LG NanoH₂
The new membranes comes in two types: an energy saving (ES) range for use at 150 psi and a “high
rejection” range for use a 225 psi and which is divided into three grades spanning a permeate flow
rate range of 39.7 m₃/d to 58.3 m₃/d. The products were unveiled at this week’s AMTA/ AWWA
Membrane Technology Conference in Orlando, USA.
The company recommends the ES model “industrial process water or municipal potable water”
applications and it says the high rejection membranes are “well suited for high-quality permeate
requirements, second pass systems.”
