Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group
Watson-Marlow Bredel is the largest manufacturer of peristaltic, tube and hose pumps in the world, with over one million pumps sold. Watson-Marlow Bredel pumps have no valves, seals or glands, and the fluid contacts only the bore of an elastomeric hose or tube. Because they are simple to install, easy to operate and quick to maintain, they are the world’s fastest-growing pump type. The simple glandless, “straight through” construction without valves, vanes or impellers, has clear advantages in handling viscous sludges liable to contain rag type or other solids which cause blockages, while the ability to impart minimal shear, combined with the high levels of volumetric accuracy when handling additives such as polyelectrolyte, is important in terms of both efficient flocculation and additive consumption. Reduced operating costs can be achieved by the installation of Watson-Marlow pumps in the feeding of primary or thickened sludge to digesters or filter presses, and in primary tank auto-desludging. To complete primary auto-desludging, following digester treatment, the sludge goes to secondary storage tanks, where polyelectrolytes are dosed by low-pressure peristaltic pumps prior to dewatering. If you handle fluids from microlitres to 80 cubic metres an hour and pressures up to 16 bar, we can save you time and money and improve your processes. key words/Specialities: Pumps, Peristaltic pumps, Hose pumps, Tube Pumps, Pumps Hygienic, Sanitary pumps, Chemical Pump

Watson-Marlow peristaltic pumps the clear choice at Siltbusters
Separating suspended solids from liquids before discharging to sewer or water course is a headache that construction companies have had to endure for a considerable period of time. Aggravating the problem further is when materials won't settle quickly. To overcome this obstacle Monmouth-based Siltbuster Ltd has standardised on innovative 500 and 600series peristaltic pump technology from Watson-Marlow Bredel
