Salinity summit set for Las Vegas in February

The Multi-State Salinity Coalition (MSSC), which promotes advancements in desalination-related technologies, salinity control strategies and associated policies in the USA, has announced that its 2013 summit will be in Las Vegas.

The 2013 MSSC Annual Salinity Summit will be held on 14⋆15 February, and its theme will be Embracing Innovations & Overcoming Barriers as related to desalination and salinity management.

Keynote speakers will include: Michael Gabaldon, director of technical resources at the US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation; Jorge Arroyo, director of innovative water technologies at the Texas Water Development Board; and Richard Nagel, general manager of West Basin Municipal Water District.
