The Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC), California, USA, announced on 3 February 2010 the award of a US$ 1.05 million dollar contract for Phase 3 of the South Orange Coastal Ocean Desalination Project.

The new Cat pump for small SWRODesigned for pumping seawater in small reverse-osmosis desalination plants, Cat Pumps has introduced the 7CP6111 and 7CP6171 stainless steel pumps.
