The WateReuse Research Foundation has announced a webcast on The Potential for Expanded Water Reuse in Emerging Energy and Biofuels Industries, assessing the results of a foundation-funded research project.
The webcast on 8 November 2012 will focus on the opportunities for water reuse within the broad range of emerging energy fields, including renewable energy, bioenergy, biofuels and biomass production.
For each sector, the researchers determined the types of potential water demands that could be met with recycled water and the requirements for those water demands, including water quantity and quality.
The foundation is also holding a webcast this week on the National Research Council’s 2012 Report on Water Reuse on 24 October 2012.
