Australia’s National Centre for Excellence in Desalination has announced that its Rockingham Desalination Research Centre will be opened on 4 September 2011 to coincide with the International Desalination Association’s World Congress in Perth.
The centre, which is located in Murdoch University about 45 km south of the centre of Perth, will offer 15 laboratories, offices, lecture and seminar rooms and pilot plant facilities. These will be available to collaborating researchers and industry for developing and prototyping new desalination technologies.
