Good year for BEL in Spain

BEL Group, the pressure-vessel supplier, has completed its first year in its new facility in Murcia, Spain. The new state-of-the-art production facility, which complements its factory in Israel, started its commercial production in January 2008.

BEL supplied thousands of pressure vessels in 2008 from its two factories, principally to three large seawater reverse-osmosis desalination projects, the 275,000m³/d mega project in Hadera, the 55,000 m³/d Uramin project in Namibia, and the 60,000 m³/d Bajo Almanzora seawater desalination project in Spain. The plant is looking forward positively to 2009 ready to fulfill the growing demands for membrane housings.
