Aquatech International Corporation has announced an order from Gemma Power Systems for the Colusa Power Station in Maxwell, California, USA.
Aquatech will design, manufacture and supply potable ultrafiltration, wastewater ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and a wastewater forced circulation crystallizer.
Surface canal water will be treated at 300 gpm (18.9 L/s) to provide process water and 500 gpm (31.5 L/s) of generated wastewater will be treated to achieve zero liquid discharge.
The equipment is scheduled to be delivered in fall of 2009. The 640 MW combined-cycle power plant is owned by Pacific Gas & Electric.
