The San Diego County Water District in California, USA, issued a request for proposals (RFP) on 10 January 2011 for technical studies related to the proposed Camp Pendleton Seawater Desalination Project.
The RFP is seeking qualified firms to perform geotechnical, hydrogeologic and marine life investigations near the mouth of the Santa Margarita River at the southwest corner of Marin Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
The work is estimated to be worth US$ 2-3 million and proposals are due by 17 February 2011.
