Postponed California water bond included water reuse

The California legislature has again postponed a November 2012 ballot on a water infrastructure bond worth US$ 11 billion, which included US$ 1 billion worth of water reuse projects.

This is the second time the bond has been pulled from the ballot despite its water infrastructure upgrades being described in as “crucial” in 2009. It was thought that alongside a big tax rise, the bond stood little chance of approval.
