IDE Technologies has opened a new office in Chile and appointed Rodrigo Turra as country sales director.
Turra brings 18 years of management and business development experience in the water industry, which he will use to increase awareness and sales throughout Latin America for IDE‘s small and large-scale membrane and thermal desalination solutions, as well as its industrial water treatment business.
Prior to joining IDE, Turra was business development manager at Seven Seas Water, managing the development of build-own-operate and build-own-operate-transfer new business in Chile. In this role, he generated more than 20 seawater desalination and water reuse project opportunities.
He has also been senior account manager for GE Power & Water, where he was responsible for maintaining existing business as well as generating new opportunities.
