Miller Truby has joined Professional Water Technologies (PWT) in the USA as regional account manager.
His primary responsibilities will include technical support for PWT’s existing client base and identifying new commercial opportunities in the south-west US.
Truby was previously part of the Technical Service Department for Toray Membrane USA. His duties included supporting the membrane manufacturer’s technical analyses, membrane systems start-up as well as troubleshooting systems in operation.
David Russell, vice-president for specialty chemicals and services for PWT, which specializes in reverse-osmosis (RO) specialty chemicals and membrane forensics services, says, “Miller has a valuable skill set focused on reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, and various other related filtration and separation technologies. Today more than ever, membrane systems plant operators value the knowledge and technical know-how that a seasoned professional such as Miller can bring to their plant’s operations”.
Truby is a director of the Southwest Membrane Operators Association and a member of the International Desalination Association and the American Membrane Technology Association. He has also co-authored many technical papers on RO membrane construction, operation and maintenance that he presented at industry conferences.
