Jorg Menningmann has joined Biwater’s desalination and membrane treatment sector as president of Biwater AEWT.
Menningmann has over 30 years’ experience in the industry specializing in membrane and filtration applications. Most recently, he managed Xylem’s (formerly ITT) portfolio of membrane treatment systems and services for water and wastewater applications, as well as leading business development activities for global projects.
Prior to this, Menningmann was president of the Pure Water Division at Waterlink and vice president of sales and engineering at Water Equipment Technologies.
Biwater says that, having spent considerable time on large-scale projects in the Middle East and other regions, Menningmann understands the need to develop appropriate technological and financial solutions to help nations address their most pressing water-related challenges.
“Jorg Menningmann will be an asset to the group’s desalination and membrane activities, overseeing the roll-out of new membrane applications in the US and abroad,” said Adrian White, executive chairman of Biwater International.
