Indian desalination conference set for February

The Indian Desalination Society (InDA) has published a brochure for its National Conference on Water Purification Technologies & Management (InDACON 2012).

The conference, in association with the South India Education Society, will take place in Mumbai on 8-9 February 2012.

The conference will cover a wide range of topics including:

  • Thermal desalination systems, cogeneration systems, waste heat utilization and solar desalination options and challenges
  • Membrane-based point-of-use and wastewater recycling technologies
  • Integrated water management
  • Safe water supply in remote areas
  • Water quality assessment
  • Bioremediation as a viable option for safe water treatment
  • Economics and financing aspects in water management and case studies
  • Nanotechnology for desalination and water purification.
