Guinea desalination project changes hands

Nevada-based Dhanoa Minerals Ltd is to acquire a 75% majority interest in a 5 MGD (19,000 m³/d) seawater desalination project in the Republic of Guinea in West Africa.

The company announced on 26 January 2012 that it had signed a letter of intent to buy the stake from Vision Energy Corp, a California-based energy process design company. Vision Energy has an agreement with Sofitrad SA of Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, to construct and operate the plant.

The letter of intent calls for CC Gas Systems of Florida to be the construction contractor and permanent plant operator.
