Ultraviolet C technology (UV-C) can disinfect water and destroy harmful micro-organisms in other liquids.

The deal will expand Evoqua and Neptune Benson's portfolio of UV products, which now covers municipal, industrial, recreational and residential applications.

"We're excited to add another strong UV solution to our offerings, giving customers more choices when it comes to their water disinfection needs," said Ken Rodi, president of Evoqua's Neptune Benson.
