Energy Recovery hires senior management duo

Pressure energy technology firm Energy Recovery has appointed Chris M Gannon as chief financial officer and Eric O Siebert as vice president of corporate strategy. Both appointments are effective from 8 June 2015.

Gannon was previously managing director at consultancy, Conway MacKenzie, He served in interim senior management capacities for the firm’s clientele including lead restructuring advisor to the City of Detroit throughout its landmark US$ 18 billion bankruptcy.

President and chief executive officer of Energy Recovery, Joel Gay, said: “We believe Chris’ substantial experience in leading a wide variety of organizations through rapid change and deep experience in finance and multiple corporate disciplines make him the ideal addition to the Energy Recovery leadership team.

Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Gannon was a principal at Talon Group, a private equity firm focused on control investments in performing and distressed businesses.

Siebert was previously general manager of coating services for pipeline corrosion protection company Aegion which operates in the oil and gas sector and where he worked with Gay.

Gay said: “I believe his experience within various geographic oil and gas markets, as well as his substantial background in finance and corporate development, will benefit our ongoing market expansion efforts.”
