Details released for September SWMOA courses

Details have been released by the Southwest Membrane Operator Association (SWMOA) for its two California membrane-plant operator training courses in September 2012.

A one-day operator training workshop A RARE Opportunity to Learn About Membranes will be held at the East Bay Municipal Utility District's Richmond Advanced Recycle Expansion (RARE) Water Project on 25 September 2012. There will be both classroom and hands‑on training during this workshop. Space is limited to 40 attendees.

The second workshop Desalting the Inland Empire will be held on 27 September 2012 at the Inland Empire Utilities Agency. The morning classroom session will be at the agency, while the afternoon will be spent at the Chino Basin Desalter Authority's Chino 1 Plant for hands-on training and a facility tour. Space is limited to 70 attendees.
