CaribDA pump workshop registration opens

Registration is now open for a workshop on Operation & Maintenance of Pumps, which will be held by the Caribbean Desalination Association (CaribDA) prior to the Annual Conference of the Caribbean Water & Wastewater Association (CWWA) in the Bahamas.

The workshop will be held on 1 October 2012 at the Atlantis Resort and will conclude prior to the CWWA Opening Welcome Reception.



The workshop will focus on the following presentations:

Installation, Start-Up and Highlights of Safe Operations of BM and CR Pumps
Henning Riis Vester, Grundfos Management A/S

Characteristics of Centrifugal Pumps & Turbochargers in SWRO Systems
Eli Oklejas, Jr, Fluid Equipment Development Company

The Basics in PD Axial Piston Pump Technology, Installation & Start-Up of APP Pumps in SWRO Systems
Palle Olson, Danfoss A/S
