Biwater wins RO job at Jacksonville treatment plant

Three 1 MGD (3,875 m³/d) reverse osmosis (RO) trains are to be delivered by Biwater as part of a contract in Jacksonville, North Carolina, USA, from TA Loving Company.

The contract will support the Dixon Water Treatment Plant improvement works being carried out by Onslow Water & Sewer Authority (ONWASA).

Biwater‘s RO system will increase the treatment plant’s potable water production capacity, and comply with new Environmental Protection Agency standards, removing silica and organics from the influent.

This design, manufacture, supervise and commission contract also includes providing appropriate chemical dosing systems, pretreatment cartridge filtration, plant instrumentation, PLC, supervisory control and data acquisition, and remote IO stations. Updated 2 January 2014
