Al Fatah Water & Power has selected BEL pressure vessels for the second-phase extension of the seawater reverse-osmosis desalination plant in Al Jubail City, Saudi Arabia, which will supply water to the numerous industries located around the city.
The system is designed to a capacity of 58,500 m³/d and is expected to be completed by January 2013.
BEL will supply pressure vessels for both stages of the plant from its production facility in Murcia, Spain. The vessels are equipped with high‑grade steel side‑ports in a state‑of‑the‑art multiport arrangement.
