Japan’s Nitto Group has promoted Brett Andrews to be CEO of Hydranautics and managing director of the Global Membrane Division, effective 1 October 2013.
Andrews has over 24 years of experience in the field of membrane technology and water treatment chemicals. He joined Hydranautics in July 2007 as vice president of sales and marketing and was promoted to president and chief operating officer of Hydranautics in June 2008.
In his new role, Andrews will be responsible for leading Nitto’s Global Membrane Division, consisting of Oceanside, California, USA; Shiga, Japan; and Shanghai, China. Andrews will continue to work from Hydranautics’ headquarters in Oceanside.
Andrews will be taking over from Yasushi Nakahira, who will now lead the Nitto Denko Base Functional Products Division based in Toyohashi, Japan.
