A 6 MGD (22,700 m³/d) membrane brackish-water treatment plant and a 3.5 MGD (13,250 m³/d) membrane water-reclamation facility are to be designed and built by AECOM Technology Corporation under a US$ 101 million design/build contract by the town of Davie, Florida, USA.
The project also includes a new utility office for the town, a series of five raw-water wells, two deep injection wells and reuse of the reclaimed water. The project is scheduled for completion during 2013.
