AECOM wins USAID water reuse work in Jordan

AECOM Technology Corporation announced on 30 November 2010 that it won a US$ 28 million task order from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) under its Global Architecture Engineering Infrastructure Indefinite Quantity Contract.

The five-year task order pertains to USAID’s Water Reuse and Environmental Conservation Project based in Amman, Jordan.

Under the agreement, AECOM will work with USAID to increase industrial wastewater reuse, reduce energy consumption, improve regulatory enforcement, expand knowledge sharing and reduce industrial pollution in the region.
